I architected a high-scale IoT platform for a Houston demonstration plant: a real-time path from PLCs into InfluxDB using MQTT, AWS IoT Core, SQS, and Lambda so operational data could be captured reliably at the edge and processed in the cloud.

I designed IT/OT network architecture and coordinated third-party integrators to deploy CanaryLabs Historian, connecting industrial hardware to cloud-native storage and processing.

I built a scalable analytics pipeline with AWS Kinesis, Flink, and Glue and automated carbon certification and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reporting by centralizing industrial data and analytics outputs in an S3 and Athena–backed warehouse.

For a 500M+ datapoint workload, I reduced API latency about 90% (roughly 2s to 50ms) by refactoring PostgreSQL schema and queries for efficient pagination, tuning indexes, and adding custom caching middleware to the API layer.

I led a migration from PostgreSQL to InfluxDB for high-frequency sensor data, improving write throughput and storage efficiency for time-series workloads.

I developed an Agentic RAG system using Claude and AWS AgentCore, with Python tool-calling to extract features from complex fermentation data for natural-language synthesis.

The role ended when the company underwent a workforce reduction in early 2026.
