Blue River Technology (John Deere) - Autonomy

I built and automated data ingestion, feature extraction, and labeling pipelines and helped optimize model training and evaluation workflows alongside robotics and ML primarily using Python, Docker, and AWS, with Apache Airflow for orchestration.

As admin of the Autonomy team’s AWS accounts, I developed and maintained Terraform modules for repeatable deployments. I helped reduce AWS spend by roughly 40% through tagging and terminating unused resources, storage tiering, and compute optimization.

I migrated CI/CD from on-premise TeamCity to GitHub Actions, improving reliability, simplifying operations, and speeding up builds.

I coached junior engineers, onboarded new hires, and managed a summer intern through improvements to automated image labeling from design through implementation including cost analysis of the labeling system.
